Presenter: Charlene Rooke
With the most independently owned distilleries of any province in Canada, B.C. is making top-shelf craft gins that are developing an expressive regional style that's uniquely our own. Charlene Rooke hosts this guided tasting of award-winning B.C. gins that feature everything from kelp to vibrant rainforest pine and spruce, from Japanese-style botanicals like yuzu and cherry to berries, barks and roots unique to the Pacific Northwest Coast. Guests will also be invited to do a tasting of locally made B.C. tonic syrups and soda waters, pairing their favourites to create their own G&Ts enhanced with fresh B.C. botanical garnishes.
